Halloween Disco

Come Along

On Saturday 30^th October, not doing anything, then come along as Panshanger FC will be holding a family disco at Moneyhole Lane, the time is from 7.30 till 11.30 with fancy dress (Optional) but there will be prizes for the best costumes.

The cost to attend is only £5 per family and there will be Bar and refreshments on sale.

Tickets available from the Panshanger FC Club Kitchen or me.

Training

The Lions & Tigers will train at Moneyhole Lane every Thursday.

Start Time:     17:45

Kit required:  Indoor training so bring trainers, shin pads, training kit,

Note:               No shin pads No training. If your boys miss training without a valid reason they may not play in the next fixture.

 Saturday 11th September

League Game

home v KGFC

Well, what can I say apart from well done to each and every boy who played for the Lions. The game started of at such a great pace with good play from both teams but then the Lions started to put some excellent passes together and started to dominate the game, playing some lovely football. Not to mention the ever fearless Tayler in goal making some great saves, eventually the goals came from Charlie Woolley (2) and Tyler who scored the other making Panshanger Lions the winners.

 Saturday 18th September

 Friendly

 Away v Lemsford

The Manager decided to take a mixed team with Jack, Harvey, Lewis & Adam linking up with the Lions squad for the friendly at Lemsford. As always  Lemsford provided a stiff test until a breakthrough goal by the ever running Harry G, after that we started to dominate the game with Charlie W playing the central midfield and putting through some great balls, this enabled Harvey to score the first of his two goals. Lewis was asked to play in three different positions but completed each one with such determination nothing got past him. Due to Taylers absence Jack went in goal and pulled of save after save, nice one Jack, in front Chip stood in front of everything that came at him and playing alongside Captain Bex, an ever solid game, proved a good partnership. Between the strikers Adam & Johnny they made sure the Lemsford defence was kept busy. Despite his parents wedding in the afternoon Joe made a fantastic first half and never stopped running (hope you got to the wedding on time) and set up Harvey for his goal. Yes the manager was really pleased with this squad, a great buch of players to work with.

Saturday 23rd September

League

home v St Albans

Unfortunately despite some good individual performances we went down against a very good team St Albans. The manager Peter thought it was'nt a case of they scored 7 more of a case of how many goals did we give them, still we got some great goals back and the team is working really well together and putting some excellent passes to each other. We are sure this is only a blip as the oppossition we're a good team and I know the boys will bounce back at  the next game.
