This is too bad. I hoped they had improved! I tried Cinema Taco the first week they were open and was disappointed, but I tried to blame it on the newness of the restaurant. It's June now, they're not new, and there is nothing exciting about the place. I agree about the tortillas. It would help so much if they would at least heat them more. Mine was still cold and the fillers weren't anything to write home about. A spicy hot sauce or at least some jalopenoes would be a nice option as well. I know they're trying to keep it simple. But, it's so simple that it's just not very tasty. Does anyone know what happened to the burrito cart in front of Cinema Taco? He hasn't been out in at least 2 weeks and his burritos are so delicious!

We are huge fans of Julia's Empanadas up in DC…we were so impressed the first time we stumbled in that we returned a few hours later for breakfast! When Cinema Taco opened, I had such high hopes. When I tried a sweet potato empanada there, I wondered which empanada was the true empanada. I have my answer now.
