Boar’s Head
“Lunch was just okay, though the fried green tomatoes were excellent. I’ll definitely stick with the buffet in the future.”
“My palate was ecstatic…The restaurant was packed, had a delightful atmosphere, and paid attention to the details. Our waitress and the other wait staff were top-notch!” Read the full review here.
“It was amazing…We went after the lunch crowd at 1 pm and it was still pretty crowded.” More here.
C & O
“The Pate was a nice experience, but something we will probably never order again…One of the best Cordon Bleu’s I’ve had…All in all it was a lovely meal and we are both glad we went.” Read full review here.
Camino
“Very interesting and delicious menu with great service! Great job Sean!” — Debbie Shick
Carmello’s
“Excellent service, but the food was not good. Subpar Italian.”
Cassis
“I have never been there and was pleasantly surprised…Everyone enjoyed their dishes. The waitstaff seemed a bit mixed up about 5-6 times, but it was sort of busy.” Read the whole review here.

We went to C&O last night… top notch service and delicious food (I will say, the bread was overdone and tougher than you'd like). We definitely left feeling fat and happy. Can't wait to return.

Melting Pot on Monday- too many offers of water glass fill up, solicitations for email address, comment cards and wrong drink charges tainted an otherwise nice meal.

any word on Ventana? I have reservations but I'm getting scared away by reviews on other blogs.

Brasserie Montiel was a very nice surprise this past Wednesday. The service was quite attentive despite a very busy Restaurant Week crowd. I started with Duck Confit and Butternut Squash Ravioli, followed by the Veal Osso Bucco – buttery and flavorful! The dessert was Pecan Praline with ice cream – pretty good, but I wouldn't choose it again – probably just me. Overall, it was a positive experience.
