Himalayan Fusion is another one that is overrated. Can't believe how many people seem to like that one. I've never had the lunch buffet at Maharaja, but for me there is no question that dinner is better there. If only Royal Indian were a couple of miles closer…

c'mon, himalayan fusian is way worse than milan. i think milan's lunch buffet is better than maharaja's but the dinners are about the same. loved royal indian the one time i went there, but my flights are always too late at night/early in the morning to eat there!

I agree – their food really is just “meh.” We went there after someone told us it was the best Indian food in Cville. Umm, no. Not really. I have yet to try Maharaja, though.

All kinds of dirt coming out about them. I understand the owner of Royal Indian was a chef at Milan before they mistreated him and sent him away to become the competition.

Milan steals their employees' tips. I haven't been there since that news came out, and I don't intend to ever go again.

You know, I agree with you………now :0) When we first moved here we had some GREAT takeout from there, but since then it's just been “meh” And the one time I ate the lunch buffet, I was sick all afternoon :-/ Keep hearing about Royal Indian…will have to try it! (thanks for posting the link to my review
