In case anyone was wondering, Cantina closed somewhat recently and has been replaced by L7. No word yet on how the latter is faring, but we'll review it soon. Stay tuned!

I disagree completely. As a native Texan, I find the food to be an honest and, (quite frankly delicious) interpretation of Tex-Mex. Also, any place that boasts 1950's pin-ups on the walls and serves $1.oo P.B.R.'s has my loyal patronage until they get expensive like every other place does. In the mean time, I love this fucking place, and it's tostadas!!!

Tried Cantina two taco lunch special. Basically a small salad on a tortilla. Lots lettuce and cheap greens-- no sizzle and no staying power until dinner. Way over done for a taco. How about some meat, some cheese (there was none that I remember) and some (not tons) of lettuce? The tacos are served on a soft tortilla and the meat (in my case chicken) is down the middle, so when you pick them up the lettuce bed forces the meat over the edge of the tortilla and onto your plate.

I did get chips and salsa. I expected home made chips, they serve the exact same kind Littlejohn's does with each sandwich and the salsa tasted like Pace Picante.

Not going back.

It hurts my treehugging heart to see plastic cutlery and glasses in a sit down place, in addition to the less than charming aspect of it.
